Steve and Laurie Augustino Instructional Media Center: Book Club

Book Club meets Tuesdays in room 2003 during REM.
Book Club Mission
Our mission is to expand the personal literary experience of Gaithersburg High School students by reading and discussing works chosen by the students in a friendly and open atmosphere. The book club provides a safe and welcoming environment for members to develop a lifelong interest in and appreciation for reading and learning.

Did you know...
Students who read have higher SAT scores, stronger reading comprehension, writing skills, better vocabulary and improved focus and memory? (Moll, 2014)  Whether you love reading or not, come to the GHS book club and get the benefits of regular reading.  Meetings are during SHOWTime on Tuesdays.  For more information, see Ms. J. Nelson in the media center.
